    toughbooks are a good idea for a child's first laptop just because of the amount of abuse that they can take.


    I've seen invisi-shields and such, but does anyone here sell or design custom shields or lid shields for the more popular makes of toughbooks?


    I've seen some pretty hard custom paint jobs here..some creative people here.



    there are lots of completely functional toughbooks out there that are just banged up on the outside.


    a custom shield would be less expensive and more practical than getting it painted
