    Hey all,
    I have a CF-27 and have a few questions.
    1. I'd like to add a 264mg sim to it. Is there a particular type/mfg that I should be looking for and what's a good price to pay?

    2. The person I'm working on the notebook for would like to use it for their kids to use for games and such. It's currently loaded with W2K Pro. Will that work for gaming or would it be better to put XP or W98 SE2?

    Thx

    Mark

    I have 2 CF-27 laptops. One mark 1 (Pentium 266Mhz) and a mark 2 (pentium 2 - 300MHz). I have Windows XP on both. The mark 2 is expanded with a 256MB SD-ram. Total memory is 320 MB. You can also watch DVD-movies on a mark2 or faster CF-27.

Honestly, for the price of a CF-29 right now, I wouldn't bother with a 27. I have a 51 rolling around that will run circles around it also and you can pick either one up for less then $75.

A 29mk2 or 3 can be had for $30 or less, $22 for a caddy and $15 for a drive.
