So far, the laptop has been unbreakable for over a year. The power port rubber boot tore and did not replace it. The laptop tumbed out of my hands down some cement stairs and put a scratch on the top.
The battery life is now getting shorter and looking for a new battery. Also, looking for a used car docking station. Any recommends? I see them on ebay. I can fab/weld in the steel tubing which would prevent it from getting stolen.
Does the docking stations come with three usb ports, in the event I want to lock the laptop under the seat and just have external keyboard, mouse and display?
Can the Microsoft streets gps be installed inside the cf-29 laptop? I also have a internet usb stick that if possible, mount inside the laptop. How easy is it to dissemble the laptop to mount these two items?
Lastly, how much for the lit keyboards? I like to use my latop in the dark and it also helps when driving.
Lastly, anyone wants to try out a cool moldable product on the market its called Sugru that sticks to everything and hardens to rubber like consistency. Check it out.

What model number from first screen of bios?
We ask this a lot but in this case, the number will answer my question as to whether the unit has a WWAN antenna and is wireless ready....which leads into the amazing CF-29 GPS thread in this forum and a couple more interesting ideas of my own.

There are usb "ports" inside, but no jacks unless you connect a jack to one of the unused usb ports on the motherboard. You can also buy a plug n play board to give you an internal usb jack.

This is also nice, but not the information we need.
Have a look in my signature. There u can see my model-numbers on the start of each line. Now pls post ur model number. U can find this on the first page of ur BIOS (press F2 while booting) or with a DMI-viewer if ur BIOS is password protected. Also there is a badge on the bottom of the unit, but sometimes there is a difference between the body and the electronic content...

Here is a good example why we ask for the full model number
example ....CF-29HTM50BM this model tells us it was custom built for "SBC" (AT&T) and this tells us there is a 90% chance that the touch screen will not work among other things
usb jacks inside cf-29 ???? Also, other questions about cf-29
