    Hi all,
This is my very 1st post here.
I am looking to buy a good used or newish Toughbook.
Question is which one ?,i and have looked all over the internet and found this site and looked at some of things you have to say about the Toughbooks.

Anway i need a computer that i can deal with photoshop master collection and internet and dowload photos ect..so i need speed and also practicality, reliabilty, and being able to get on internet anywhere even off grid,as i travel so hence the idea of something strong like the toughbook.
    what do you recommend?
    which type 29,19,30?
what is the difference between the 19 and the 30 ?
I have seen lot of used 29's mainly on Ebay not sure on the honesty factor ect....are they powerfull enough?
what is the difference between all?
which one would be best for my needs?, or am looking at a totally different computer for what i need.
would really appreciate some honest advice and some expertise.
I have also seen a few on here for sale but i am lost for which model and the price.
My Dell M60 is still working after 6 years athough a liitle tired in need a new graphics card.
    thanks for all your help

well for photoshop master edition a CF-30 works nice, it will NOT be blazing fast, the toughbooks with the exeption of the new 31 are not made for speed, but relaibility and durability, 13" screen may drive you nuts though.

I have a CF29 mk4 here with 1.5 GB of ram and a 7200RPM Hard drive and it runs PS-CS5 acceptable but I wouldnt want to do much of my production work on it.

if your going to be doing alot of hard work in masters edition especially video editing, go take a peek at the HP Elitebooks. Fellow toughbookers dont crucify me please, but them machines have alot better CPU, the CURRENT FireGL GPU and for the love of magnesium a 10 bit IPS screen available on some models !!!!!

now they wont have our durability, touch screens or rugged good looks, but will do the job better for a serious pro
