Anyone look into doing the wifi 6 ax200 upgrade for new toughbooks m.2 slot? Just wondering if cards are black or white listed for toughbooks. Like to get the bluetooth 5 upgrade. I heard about mods to for it to work also.

Upgrading wifi cards in Toughbooks usually results in losing Bluetooth.

In a FZ G1 I got Bluetooth back by putting the original card in the WWAN slot.

i tried masking off pin 56 which is the signal for wifi off and works on most laptops. Lots of info for acer etc. I am going to try it on a lenovo t450. Shares the same hardware as cf-c2. I wanted the bluetooth 5 more then the wifi lol. Worse case I could leave the wifi 6 in the m2 slot and use the wwan slot for some sort of bt 5

also just seen pcie to m2 adapter for ax200. that might be a go also

an uppdate. ax200 card works in lenovo t450 bluetooth 5 and wifi!
that model is a haswell and same cpu and chipset as cf-c2 so its bios blacklisted or something. I ordered pcie to m2 e key. I will update when that arrives. It should work hopefully. I used similar on cf-h2, pulled the wwan and used pcie to usb 2 port internal for gps etc

Update. i thought the cf-c2 used pcie but it has a m.2 b key which is not common. I will investigate if there is a b or b + m key to e + a
although the pcie to a + e key works in other machines
    summary
wifi 6 card does work in cfc2 but bluetooth does not. I might look into using the the b key slot to usb and installing bluetooth 5 that way possibly

Try a second wifi/bluetooth card in the wwan slot.
I used identical cards if that matters.
I got bluetooth on my G1 that way.
