    No its not a good choice

    MMCX and U.FL Antenna Connectors , so you will have to mod an adapter on the mmcx connector for your second antenna
    And Power Consumption of 1.50 A which may not available on the mini-pci buss so you will not benefit from the higher output as the power output will be reduced
    The recommended EMP-8602 +s draws the same current and I suspect even that card is having a reduced power output due to current limitations
    A standard wi-fi card has an output of approximately 50mw so the 600mw card is a huge improvement over stock, even if it in some way is having the output power reduced somewhat
    These cards are designed for access point router boards, and in that application the hardware is designed to allow full output

    The other specification to note is receive sensitivity, and in that respect the EMP 8602 has a very high rating

    alright. I just kinda want to see how far I can get without mobile broadband. as of right now my 2200bg is definitely not enough
