after all the fun of installing it i started getting the message that it was genuine. which to be honest i expected because it was £20. but it lasted for the best part of 2 years so not all bad.

now im going to buy a proper one. but the question is, what do i get? im not to worried about having to do all that install stuff again but this time i wont be using Ultimate as its too expensive and i only use the laptop for surfing the web and emailing and watching pictures and videos.

so which is the 'easiest' version of win7 to install. should i do the XP install then upgrade? can i get all the function on the TB to actually work this time around?

ive heard upgrading from a fully working XP can mean everything works on the upgrade but i dont know if this include win7? i have the CF-19 back up discs so can revert to XP and upgrade or just do a fresh install.

i probably wont use all the functions available for things like win7 pro but ill settle for whatever installs easily and whatever does cost me too much.

    thanks for your help

Search for threads on drivers and do a clean 7 install.
