    Hi.
I bought my cf18 from ebay and came with windows preloaded but many things didn't work so I decided to put fresh install on it, but my win xp doesn't recognise serial key from the bottom of my laptop.
Does anybody could help me with iso file of Panasonic windows xp pro, please?
    Regards

You need the recovery disc set to make it work correctly, otherwise the rotation and front buttons will not work, been there and done that. Contact Rob at Toughbook Talk for the discs.

Sorry but it's against forum rules for us to pass around the restore disk. PM Rob to see if he has a set for sale Or check ebay.

    1) What is your CF-18 model number? I promise it's not just for publishing specs here :))))
    2) Is it really impossible to change XP key?

This is a quote from forum rules

I don't know why, it's very strange for me, but copying of recovery disks is prohibited. We are under risk of ban for that.

I have mk4: cf-18khh64be. I did try to change key and it say that is invalid. I used Windows XP Pro OEM.

ok. So you have a xp pro COA on the bottom? And you are sure you used a OEM xp disk? IF it's a retail disk the OEM keys won't work.

Does it have a brand name on the disk from a OEM maker? My generic disk is a Dell disk, (green says dell on it) every time I used it have to change the key. Does yours have a name on it Dell, toshiba, HP, etc, etc. And we are loading a PRO key into a PRO install not a Home version right?

    That thing worked :D
    Thanks.
I didn't know about this tool before! Everytime when I had to change the licence key I used regedit but this method doesn't work if you using key from another Windows distribution but this tiny tool does it job well.
This is actually perfect news! Any windows xp can be installed and then licence key change with this tool and
    Thanks again.
