So I know there is the Let's Note of the Y5 but is there going to be a US release? I am thinking about getting one because they look sweet, but may wait if they will be released here in the US....hopefully with a faster processor :)

I don't know about the Y5 US release, but previous US releases of the 4 series have resulted in worse configurations than their Japanese counterparts. Thus, it is unlikely the US release will have a faster processor.

I am also looking to get a Y5. There are several online retailers that sell it with English OS options. Except for the potentially higher import price, I don't see any reason to wait for a US release, which may have worse specs.

EDIT: Doing a brief search indicates the cheapest places to find the Y4 are the same importers who sell the Y5, so the US version may not be less expensive after all. The Panasonic web site even sells them for much more than the importers do. It looks like there is no reason to wait for the US release after all! :)

    hi guyz,

Have a qyestion. I hope you already use Y5 - so have 2 questions abut:
    1. resolution is quite high - what about font is isn't it to small?
    2. keyboard "no japanese subtitles" what about those strange keys near space - do they work and what do u get if push tham?

Thanks in advance for your answer.

P.S. could you show me any link to the picture of Y5 keybord?

They are function keys it seems. I think relevant only if you are in the Japanese typing mode in Windows.
