    Any one else getting a buzz noise from the power brick?

    When i plug the computer to the power source, i get a small buzz noise that is a little annoying when the room is silent.
    In my country we use 220V input, but that should not be a problem.

    Anyone else has the same buzz issue? is it normal?

    i get the same thing also.

    I leave in the UK, so 220V as well. I'm getting the sound only when not charging the laptop.

    At least we are two now, im from Chile by the way.
    I wonder if places with 100V~110V get the same sound or is it silent ?

    Is it very loud and audible? Is it an annoying high pitch buzzing sound?

    Yea it's a high-pitch kind of noise.
    When you are in a quiet place it is audible and if i am within a radius of 50cm from the brick, it feels loud and annoying :(.

    I contacted customer support and they said they could send another power brick but first they need the old one back. Unfortunately, i live outside US and that makes things more coplicated.

    That's no good. How can you use the laptop if they want the old one first before they send you a replacement? That's BS, it should be cross shipped and you already paid for the damn laptop, if they want you to ship the original ac adapter b4 they send you a replacement then you will have a 1-2 weeks of downtime. Do they also want you to pay the return shipping for the faulty original ac adapter?

    I get a slight ticking/crackling noise along with a buzz, but its only noticeable in a silent room.

    not sure. Well, i will just keep it. At this point the effort required to get a new power brick, with the risk to have a similar buzz, is too high to justify. If it gets worse then ill probably do something

    Occasionally I get a ticking noise in addition to the buzz. Razer said they'll send me a new one. I'll be asking for a 120W adapter just in case, but I'm starting to think this is normal.

    If it helps, I am in the US with 110 vs your 220. I think it is just how these adapters are, we'll see when my replacement arrives.
