As far as I know, this bug applies to all Razer Systems.
The touchpad freezes when waking from sleep on battery. Plugged in, everything works fine.
Even external mouses are having issues when waking from sleep on battery.
Some people have reported keyboard issues as well on certain models.
The only workaround I found, other than rolling back the update, is to avoid closing the lid to put the laptop to sleep on battery. Instead, put the laptop to sleep using the power button, then close the lid. This way it wakes from sleep fine.
If anybody finds a solution, let us know.

Definitely a problem on the two blade pro devices I have in my possession. Keyboard and mouse flicker on and off after sleep or hibernation. The power button trick also isn't working for me, so I have just rolled back to the anniversary update. Bummer too, because the new update has some fantastic features I'm excited about.

Damn nice with 2 major Win X updates a year

New Razer Synapse update just installed. Maybe someone who is still on the FCU @Vistar Shook can try it out and see if anything fixed?
I'm guessing not since Razer will probably be pretty quick to sing their own praises as soon as the fix is released. Then again....Razer is a classic example of the left hand (customer service) not knowing what the right hand (engineering) is doing.Vistar Shook likes this. -

I am back on the 1703 for now....can't check....doubt though that a synapse update would address the issue, considering the issue is present even after a clean install before installing synapse.

And Micro$haft claims that newer hardware work perfectly fine with their New Modern pastel colored Tile Trash. And Razer's engineering team where are they? Stability what is that? 2 new OS Build every year. Oh'well

They're taking a break for a brief period to do a memory wipe otherwise they'll behave erratically.
Start fresh with new design and leave everyone else in the dust. Or ask @pbhenry3 to fix their thermal and design problems. -
Microsoft says they are preparing an update for Nov 14th to solve the problem. More information can be found here on Microsoft's forums.
This gives me a bit of hope...if the problem required a bios update on Razer's part, I bet several machines would be waiting a very long time.Vasudev likes this. -
The issue appears to be fixed with preview build 17035. I have it installed now and have not had a problem in the last 20+ sleep or hibernation cycles.

Good to know. I don't think the nov14th update will be that build, what do you think? We might have to wait longer?

As you see above. Very nice, Micro$oft use their unpaid GP's for resolving their own incompetence. They have to Stop throw out unfinished ALPHA versions of their Spy box OS. Maybe put longer time in house to see it works. As well hiring more own workers aka pay the GP's. This means put more time in a working OS and stop use all resources on telemetry and their own Web Store.Vasudev and Vistar Shook like this.

Good question. The previous preview build 17025 did not have the fix included.Vasudev and Vistar Shook like this.

Maybe they might release specific patch since this particular issue affects almost all Razer Systems. As more and more systems get updated the support center must be getting flooded with complaints.....not really sure that Microsoft is in fact blocking the update on incompatible systems.
