Got my refurb'd 2014 512 Blade from the CES sale. This laptop is awesome! ...of course, my last non-work laptop was a Alienware m11x r2.
I am very impressed with this beast. It gets very toasty, but otherwise it's great.
So, in the confusion that was the CES sale, I ended up ordering two of these laptops. My first attempt failed on the last step of the order process. When I tried again my code failed (that should have been a clue). A stranger on twitter took pity on me and gave me their code. The next try worked. After everything had settled down I got conformations for both orders!
So....here's my conundrum.... Do I return the extra laptop or try to flip it? I don't need two!![]()

Please remember , the return policy is 14 days from date of purchase, so not sure if it gives you enough time to flip

Yeah. Time is getting close and I hate selling stuff on ebay.
I called their CS # and got a recorded message about volume due to the CES sale. Then it hung up on me. Sigh. Sent them a message through their website. Hope it works! -
The laptop is nice but I would recommend returning it. They keep giving promos to get them sold. They are clearing out inventory for the 2015 models. I am probably returning both of mine for the Aorus X3+ V3. .2" thicker, weighs less, newer GPU, 6GB vram, upgradeable/replaceable RAM, mSATA instead of the more expensive and hard to find M2. Not trying to talk you out of it but with the cost associated with last-gen technology I see these laptops being <$1,,000 within the next month or two.
I wouldn't bother trying to flip it either. they are going for <$1600 on eBay for the 512GB model. Less than the refurbs were on the Razer Store. -
Yeah, 2015 model has to be imminent.

They are refusing to post specs for sure to clear out the 2014 models.

I got a refurb 512 for $1600 during the CES sale (2 of them, actually). I'm going to keep one as you'd never know it wasn't brand new and I got it at an incredible price. The extra one is going back.
I travel a lot for work and I think the Razer will hold up to the rigors of travel better than the Aorus and I'm guessing a 2015 version of the Blade is going to be as pricey, if not more, than the current. -
Actually the razer blade's hold their value well. You can't even find a 2013 model for less than $1000 on ebay.

I just saw a 2014 model sell for $1300 not sure who would pay 300 less for older tech.
Got my Blade!
