I was a diehard razer fan but after owning one of their mice and one of their computers never again. Never. I have a $3,000 paperweight.

You should read my posts in the RBP 2013 thread... My experience was absolutely horrible. I should have filed with the BBB. Razer did not deserve the leway they were given... I had 3-4 Replacements that came DOA in a row. That is entirely unacceptable.

I asked the support team to forward an email to their management/boss and it never got there. They stopped supporting the SBUI and closed the forums and deleted the information that listed it as open source. Most of the community's software never got released and often worked better than the software created by razer. The twitch app (released with the blade pro 2014) was never fixed after Amazon bought twitch a month or two later and most apps stopped working by then.

One of the times, Razer CS also tried to bill me for repairs that they promised they would cover and took several additional weeks to send the repaired laptop back.

Oh and my mouse battery kept expanding and completely messed up my mamba. Razer CS told me to buy yet another battery and I had to say "no I will never buy another Razer product from you guys again" before they offered a new battery replacement. So I switched to the Logitech G900 and I have been very happy with it.

Lol everything negative regarding razer gets deleted from the insider forum and the users banned.

My brother also has issues with his smaller blade 2014

I finally got sent a working blade pro 2013 but by then I had moved on to a gt80s

I see. What type of issues does your brother have with the 2014 blade 14? I'd be happy to help

    Battery shutdown
Touch screen keeps triggering repeatedly in bottom right corner
    Overheats and shuts down
    Trackpad very uneven tracking
Laptop randomly wakes from sleep state making transport near impossible.

There are probably more issues but these are the ones he complains the most about.

Wow, that's a lot. Battery issues are common on these, im working on making a quality aftermarket battery but am just in the prototype and testing phases currently. I have originals in stock at the moment. Depending on exactly what you mean by "battery shutdown" it's possible it's a motherboard issue. Most commonly is resistors on battery clock or data lines failing, but could also be the batt MOSFET, or even a diode by he charge controller as I recently seen.
Touchscreen sounds like you may need a new digitizer, I have them in stock as well as screens and whole assembly's,
Overheating issue could be taken care of with new quality thermal paste.
Not sure what exactly is meant by "uneven tracking" on trackpad but the trackpad cables commonly fail on these, could b related. I have them in stock here.
Randomly Waking fromSleep state sounds like a sensor issue perhaps.

Repair is certainly possible here but it all depends on if you feel it is "worth it" or not. My board repair is $325 but what is needed beyond board repair would be additional charges.

@pbhenry3: I think it has something to do with diode as you said, I am really bad at remembering things. I saw a video where you showed that Overvoltage or over current was the cause that killed majority of RB or RS some years ago. Its probably connected.
As for battery issue, it maybe be caused because of the high temperatures of CPU, GPU and all the components that tripped its safety sensor or something.
As for uneven mouse tracking, it might be the cause of older drivers, maybe updating it or setting it to most sensitive with minimal palm tracking will fix that. If the issue persists, you may have to disable Mouse Gestures.
    Will reflowing fix motherboards?
