Razer have disable the WIDI technology with software but the hardware supports it.

And it should be possible to install generic intel drivers for this to easily remove the software block.

You would also need to get another wireless adapter to replace the Qualcomm one inside.

Oh I forgot to mention that I was talking about the new razer blade 2014, that one has a Intel® Wireless-AC 7260HMW and it has the WIDI technology.

Ooh. Didn't know that. Makes sense though as there aren't many other AC adapters out there besides the Intel one atm.

@xlure: without any modification I was able to connect my RB2014 to a Netgear PTV3000. I've watched a few DVR episodes this way, and it was flawless. I'm not sure why Razer would indicate it's not supported.

Works fine with my RB 2014, no modifications necessary aside from updating software.
