    I get "This firmware tool is for use only with Blade and compatible system." - and I have a Blade v5 (late 2016).

    I wonder if it's because I opened up my BIOS?

    It can be that your serial number and model number dissapeared from the BIOS when flashing before. Happened to mine when I tried flashing the TPM updater.

    Thanks for sharing all these links! Has Razer mentioned support for patching older models? I have a Blade 14" from 2013 which still works great, but would be great to get it patched up...
