So I was browsing around and saw here that apparently the Razer Blade 14" has a second unused mSATA port. Is this also the case for the Razer Blade Pro? And if so, has anybody tried to RAID0 them?
I'm curious because that was one of the big things pushing me to the GS70 but if it's possible to add a 2.5" hard drive, then I'd be much more likely to buy this notebook instead.

Is there any specific reason why you would like to RAID0 them? You will not notice a difference in regular tasks and it will significantly increase the chance of not being able to recover information if something fails. Do you do a lot of file transfers?

JBOD serves the same purpose, but the main point is to expand flash storage without having to replace the existing drive.

I just read a news story that Samsung has a 1TB Evo msata now.

The RBP had one mSata port and one 2.5" drive. The mSata slot is filled with a drive capacity that you order the laptop with while the 2.5" drive bay sits empty.
If you decide you want to RAID 0 your drives you could buy a 2.5" to mSata adapter and run your mSata drives in RAID 0. But as they stated above youd be much better off filling the 2.5" bay with a 2.5" drive to maximize space and even reduce some costs.
