Next Razer Blade may have Displayport!

I imagine this will end one of the most vocal complaints I have heard about the current iteration of the Blade. So, I think the next one will be near perfect!

but there is nothing in the article that mentions the nex blade? one could argue that they should have included a displayport in the current iteration if they werent "complete idiots"

I agree though, a new blade with only a couple usb type c ports would look pretty damn nice!

Is there a possibility that both the blade & blade pro will be refresh this year with new tech. like gsync, 4k resolution on pro version and skylake cpu?

So your saying there is a chance. I hope the next refresh razer changes all the usb ports to usb-c.

 

that would be really awesome! like 3 or 4 of them, a headphone port, and nothing else. it would look fantastic they have been using the same casing for a couple years already, hopefully the next refresh will bring something new

while we are at it... it would also be cool to have a new thunderbolt 3, which is the same connector as usb-c.

 

A Thunderbolt port would mean Razer wouldn't be able to sell as many new units with an incrementally upgraded graphics card each year, since people would just hook up EGPUs when heavier lifting was required.

 

That's an extreme edge case. The percentage of people that would do that is extremely small.
