I am looking at buying a Razer 2015 with 512gb. I wanted to get the stock SSD stats to see if it's worth buying the 256gb version and upgrade directly to a Samsung 850 EVO M.2. I can't seem to find the stock SSD information for the 2015 version anywhere. Anyone know what the stock SSD is? Benchmarks? Thanks!

It's an M.2 SATA drive. They pretty much all perform the same under real-world scenarios.
If you're upgrading to a Samsung 850 EVO, you're not going to notice a performance difference. They're all fast. The only difference will be the higher capacity.

Anything you need to know is to be found here.
I'd suggest waiting on the 1Tb m.2's which should be out soon, Samsung announced they'd for sell in Q1 2016 (if you need more than 512gb obvsly

Oh, one more thing I wanted to add. I ran across this article. This page specifically discusses real-world performance scenarios: booting Windows, loading applications, loading games.

As you can see, there's practically no difference between a Samsung 950 Pro and a "slow" traditional SATA SSD (like a Samsung 850 Evo). The only real-world situation where you'd see a difference is on the file copy tests.
So I guess if you just watch your computer copy files to/from your SSD all day long, then the Samsung 950 Pro might be worth it. But otherwise, save yourself the money, and get the higher-capacity Samsung 850 EVO.
