When does Razer usually begin to announce their next models? Or rather, when do we begin to hear about them?

One thing to watch is when retail stock starts to disappear and that's what's happening now. The 2015 Razer Blade 14 is only available through the Microsoft Store. It's nearly impossible to find them on Amazon and even Razer's store has a long lead time. Normally this is what happens when they're about to announce a new model.

Based on past history, I'm gonna go out on a limb and predict "Between April and June" for availability, depending on how fast you pull the trigger the instant pre-orders are announced...

Think we will see some announcements during CES?

Not interested, unless they stop charging rip-off prices in Europe

Well yes, but the EU/UK prices are even more rip-off, well over the 20% extra you'd expect to factor in for EU sales tax/VAT, and much more than Apple's EU "premium" they add to all their prices...
-
My 2014 still holding strong. Unless they bring it down significantly in price, I can't justify the upgrade (whatever it may be).

interested, can you please send me more info?

Historically, Razer has announced & released their new Razer Blade models in the February / March timeframe.
However, this time around, I'd expect them to wait until whenever nVidia releases their Pascal architecture products, and has wide availability of the "GeForce 1070M" model of mobile GPUs. Currently Pascal's launch date is unannounced. But people are expecting nVidia to pull the trigger on that around mid-2016.
I would not expect any sooner than that, since it wouldn't make sense for Razer to do an iterative redesign around Intel Skylake, and then another iterative design around nVidia Pascal just a few months later. It would make a lot more sense for them to just wait a few months, and handle both major platforms at once.
BTW, Pascal is expected to bring HBM Memory and 16nm process node to the table. That will mean evolutionary gains in performance, lowered power consumption / heat generation. All good things that gaming laptops love... more processing power, while generating less heat & noise -
On a related note, Razer just had a sale on Razer Blade laptops about 2 days ago (16 January 2016). Discounts were up to $400, or in the neighborhood of a ~15% discount on their 2015 model of laptops.
I haven't followed Razer laptop pricing before two days ago, so I don't know how often they just do straight-up price discounting of current-gen laptops (rather than bonus pack-ins). But if they don't do it frequently, then it might be taken as an indicator that they're trying to flush inventory. -
Bumping this only because I don't want it to fall onto the second page and have other users create additional threads about this

Won't the 17" model be updated first? I mean it has been OOS on the razer website for a long time.
-
I will wait for CES announcement about this.
-
I just got a $400 discount email. They must be trying to clear stock.

Think they have had it for some time now.
Latest rumors for Pascal GPU is that nvidia will show it at computex. Guess Razer is looking at using nvidia gpu again. -
Really $400 discount? How did you do it mate?
