    Razerblade 14 low fps and font problems on league

    So I just got the razerblade 14 and installed league.

    I get in game to test out the fps and the first thing I notice is that the font for your summoner name is way too big, it seems that this is also a problem with when I press ctrl + F to check my ping, the font is too big to even see the ping, it's literally off the screen.

    As you can see, the fps in the top right is off the screen, and the font for everything is huge.


    Also, no matter what settings I put the game on, it seems to never hit 60fps or higher, it stays around 30-45.

    I also have this problem with summoner font thing. Havent found a solution yet. You might have some more luck posting this on the official league forums. I haven't had trouble with the fps though, maybe your running it on the integrated graphics and not the nvidia card.

    I posted on the official league forums, just waiting for any responses now.

    and for the FPS issue, how do I go about running it on the nvidia card instead of the integrated graphics card?

    This is League Of Legends?

    It sounds like they are honoring the windows font scaling in some cases where they should not be. Improper implementation of the windows DPI APIs. Try changing the font scaling in windows to 100% before playing the game.

    ok, so I've tried the font scaling solution and it didn't work, font still way too big.

    EDIT: hold that thought, I didn't press apply.

    EDIT: OK, THE FONT SCALING SOLUTION DID WORK. THANK YOU HFM.

    Apparently there is a fps issue with League of Legends and high end graphics cards

    so I guess I'll just have to wait until LoL fixes the problem until my fps gets any higher than 40



    also @HFM Is there anyway to scale down ONLY the font and nothing else? Everything is super tiny on my screen now.

    Just change it before you play league. I do that for one or two games it's pretty easy to do.

    EDIT: I realized you may be saying League looks crap not the desktop. Maybe try 150% font scaling? You could just change that before playing League until they fix the game to render fonts correctly on HiDPI displays.
