I am in the UK and I am going to America soon and am going to buy the Razer Blade 2014 14" because it is sleek and ideal for me. The thing is I am wondering what I should do about the adaptor since it will be an American plug and apparently a travel adaptor does not use the full 150 watts needed.
Also does anyone know when the 2015 Blade will be launched because I am going to America in February.
Please help, thanks.

The Blade uses a 2 part power adaptor, so you can unplug the "proprietary one" (the one that really connects to the computer - with Razer logo etc) and the somehow-universal one (the one that connects to the wall). The "somehow-universal one" is the same as used in most HP computers for example.
I'm in France and I simply switched the second part with an old HP charger I had previously. Everything works perfectly. I guess other brands also use this sort of connector...
Here's a few pics of what I'm talking about :

Agreed. I just checked my adaptor, it accepts 100-240v 50/60Hz. Should work anywhere in the world with a suitable input cord attached.

Use of a third party power supply is not covered under the Blade warranty and any damage from an insufficient power source will not be covered as well.
The Blade requires a power supply of 19 Volts DC 7.9 Amps at 150 Watts. (2011 Blade: 19 Volts DC, 6.32 Amps at 120 Watts)
The Power Supply that shipped with the Blade works on 100-240 Volts AC 50/60Hz, this is considered a world power supply.
The AC Cord is an IEC C5 plug at the power supply end.
Get the appropriate plug for your country on the other end and your all set.
