Basically I've got a 2013 Razer Blade Pro that has a near dead battery / noise on my headphone jack while plugged into the AC adapter. Its out of warranty at this point, has anyone ever sent theirs in for repair?
I'm just wondering if Im looking at 100 - 300 dollars or above that. If its above 300, I'm hesitant to send it to be honest.

It'll be at minimum $100 "diagnostic fee" for out of warranty.

I wish more laptop manufacturers would include a "battery saver" option in the BIOS that would limit the charge to like 80%. It would save so much battery life for those of us that are plugged in 99% of the time.

Agreed, haha. Good idea!

I'm fully expecting my battery to die a horrible death within the next 2 years or so. Pretty much every laptop I've had that didn't have that option the battery endurance was short due to "storage" at 100%.

Well, Im thinking it might worth it to send in? I dunno. Im hoping they just dont charge me 1000 dollars or something haha.

Definitely not 1000, but 200 dollars minimum if they swap the battery
Repair cost estimate for a Blade Pro 2013?
