On August 5th I ordered a laptop from reflex notebook after talking to them that I'm leaving for uni so it needs to arrive before I leave.
Right now it's been 11 business days and they're still not sure when my laptop will ship (today or tomorrow they guessed). The guy I called seemed confused as to why it wasn't shipped on friday so he got me on the phone with someone else who said the tracking number may come today or tomorrow. Keeping in mind apparently 14 days would be the latest I would get it. And if it comes after tomorrow (assuming what they say is true that it takes up to 7 business days to arrive) I won't actually be there to receive the laptop so I don't know what to do right now. I can't afford expedited shipping which costs around $200 but shipping it to my uni also takes a good chunk of money (especially because I might have to pay HST which would make the cost comparable to the cost for expedited shipping). And if I ship it to my uni it'll take even longer to arrive.
So yeah, not sure what I should do now. Not really reflex's fault since they don't actually make the laptops but since they're a reseller and the main reason for that is for customer service I think I should have been informed that there may be delays (especially since my laptop was supposed to be sent out on friday and it wasn't) and I had to call them to figure out what was going on (I did email them about the problem but haven't got a response yet so I called them instead). Maybe I just shouldn't have ordered it so close to me leaving.
