Just asking since there seems to be an overwhelming majority of Sager owners than Pro-Star.

Pro-star is a Sager reseller... hardly anyone on these forums have bought from Sager direct...

Isn't Prostar a clevo reseller? I was under the assumption that they built their own machines from Clevo barebone laptops. However, I could be wrong. Btw I ordered my laptop from Prostar and they were excellent to deal with. Shipped my laptop a day earlier than expected and it arrived two days earlier than expected.

Yeah, so asking what the difference is since they are the two importers of Clevo for the US.

You won't see anybody reselling a Prostar while there are Sager resellers. It's also generally accepted that you shouldn't order from Sager directly.

I ordered my laptop from Prostar and had a fantastic time dealing with them. Because they build their laptops in house and don't have to place an order to Sager their laptops are finished pretty quickly. I got mine in 8 days from the day I placed my order. I had a couple of questions to ask and called them up twice. Both times they answered my questions promptly and accurately. Also, I emailed one of their tech guys for an updated BIOS and they responded within 30 minutes. From what I can tell on these boards not a lot of people use Prostar but I would highly recommend them if you are on the fence about them.
