    Date of order: 22/6
    Date of receipt: 5/8

-Interaction with Eurocom team: Pretty decent but they aren't too enthusiastic :).
7/10 for first impression. I knew what I wanted and hence went ahead with the order.
They also upgraded my LCD with Gsync at a discounted price and my CPU to an i5 9400F and hence, thumbs up for that.

    -Delivery Experience:
The package arrived timely, but there were cosmetic damages (minor but noticeable) on the lid(a bit of plastic gouged away) with few dents on the speaker grille (if someone has a replacement part somewhere, please let me know as it is triggering my ocd).
5/10 there as the packaging seemed intact.

    Overall experience: 8/10.
Will update this thread with more information on how it all goes from here as I have raised a customer response query with them. They are responsive but could use a bit more energy :)

    Functioning and first boot:
God, the mechanical 7200 rpm HDD on this thing is slow. So slow that I could visualize myself turning old and seeing my great grandchildren using this after it boots up. However, once the OS was installed along with all required drivers, the boot times have improved a little.
Seems very snappy and of course, the temperatures hover around the 70s on load for both CPU and GPU. 1585 points on cinebench is nothing to write home about but it is alright.

Gripes: Apart from the cosmetic damage, the backlight bleed is a bit of an eyesore. Quite noticeable on two corners but not noticeable during fast paced action etc.

    Conclusion:
Whether Eurocom is good or bad is yet to be seen. They seem to be pleasant people but their hands seem tied for some odd reason...

    @EurocomEurope

    ---Edit: 6/8
Eurocom reached out to me regarding my complaint and have begun letting me know what they could do. I guess, if they provide the parts alone, even that should be alright?

    ---Edit: 7/8
-HDD is plainly painful to use. 7200 rpm but read and write speeds suck and I am getting half of what I am supposed to. Kevin from their support team suggested a few things but it seems more of a hardware thing at this point.
-Eurocom are to get back with how they are going to compensate me for the damage.
RCA that we conducted shows the hard disk adapter which they use was with the user manual packaging. That thing had shaken up somehow and removed that chunk of plastic and dented up the speaker grille. Seems to be an oversight in logistics from their side, but the damage was done.

    ---Edit: 22/8
-Had a lengthy discussion with Eurocom and they finally decided to send me the parts which were damaged: Namely the LCD cover, the keyboard top cover (because of the speaker grille) and a new HDD. I am glad that they saw reason and accepted to this. Received the parts in good nick and hence, thanked them :).
The tech called Kevin and of course, Mark from the sales did do their bit. I personally feel this entire situation could have been avoided if the people who packed the laptop for transit realized that the additional stuff could be secured just with a bit of tape away from the laptop itself. Kevin also sent along a brief but descriptive guide on how I could go about the entire replacement process by myself. Let's see how that goes.

It's a bummer with the shipping and cosmetic damage. Hope they sort you out right.

I hope so too. So far, it isnt too convincing. They are willing to replace my HDD and back panel. No mention of the dented speaker grille :/
