Hello I just ordered a laptop from Eurocom (Sky MX5) and will be describing my experience from customer service to the laptop itself.

I sent them a few questions over the last few days and they replied fairly fast. However, I asked about the return policy and they did not reply back.

    Dec 15th 11PM:
    I ordered my laptop.

    Dec 16th 7AM:
I was notified that my order was received but has yet to be processed. Expected shipping date is next Wednesday. Sadly, I believe my laptop will arrive after Christmas :/

    Dec 16th 10AM:
My order was confirmed and is expected to take 2-3 days to process. Student discount was applied ;o

    Dec 17th 4PM:
Was emailed that my laptop was shipped today! UPS says it will arrive tomorrow. I will be posting my review here as well.

    Dec 18th 12PM:
Received my laptop today! Spent a few hours tinkering with it (Adding my SSD and installing windows). Build quality is very solid. Screen doesn't bend as much as I expected it to bend. Keyboard is standard, not in a bad way though. Touchpad feels nice but it would be great if I could hold two fingers to scroll (Probably a driver or software I need to download later).

Fans are basically silent (I wear headphones anyway) but using FN + 1 converts my laptop into a hairdryer. My opinion on the loudness may be off due to the fact my desktop sounds like a jet engine :/

Laptop speakers are okay. They are good enough for watching youtube videos or playing games but I wear headphones anyway so this isn't a big deal for me.

One thing I found weird was my power button clicks twice and requires a longer hold in order for it to turn on/off my laptop. Maybe it is like that by design.

Final Thoughts: Very solid laptop. This being my first laptop I've bought for myself ever (desktop master race lol) I am very satisfied with this purchase and despite many good/bad stories about Eurocom, their customer service was good and fast (They shipped my laptop 6 days ahead of the expected shipping date!).

Just received a Sky MX5 myself, and am very happy with it. What specs did you go with?

I ordered the stock one with the only change being a non-gsync panel. I plan on sticking in a 500 GB 850 Evo SSD I got during the black friday sale.

I ordered a Sky X6 last week, was hoping for delivery this week but I guess the worldwide shortage of skylake processors put a damper on that prospect. Fingers crossed for before Christmas.
