    Hi.

This is just quick review of my experience. Im also hoping to help other finnish customers on the market for gaming notebook.

I ordered from MALIBAL because of the good reviews and forum visibility, they really felt like company that wont leave you hanging if there is any proplems.

All the communication was fast and professional. I used mostly email and few times livechat. There is no talking about the weather its all to the point.

I used bank wire for payment. It toke 5 bussines days to arrive to malibal. MALIBAL sent me the payment info and I wired the money from internetbank (dont know the right word for it). It toke 7 bussinesday for MALIBAL to build my machine and about 8 days to arrive in finlands customs. So about 20 days after my order I had my gaming rig! :)

    About the machine:

first the bad...I have 4 dead pixels. 3 of them is clustered and side by side so they look like one stuck pixel. and then there is one lonely one. I didnt take the 45 days warranty for pixels so its shame on me.

The good :performance is GREAT! I havent have any heat issues while playing Skyrim. It looks and feels great. If you have had aple or HP envy the clevo might feel a bit plastic for you but the over all build quality is very good!

The stock screen is nice and bright. its clossy, but lets face it, you are not gonna drag this machine to the park, it weights aroung 4kg. indoor usage I prefer clossy.

The bottom line is, that Im very happy for the service I got from MALIBAL!

    For Finnish ppl:

There is no custom charges for computers only taxes wich are 23%
I used sampopankki so other banks could be faster on bank wire.
total I payed for the laptop is about 1450 euros (computer+shipping+taxes).

I was thinking a bit and came to the following conclusion. Do correct me if I am wrong but the product will always be perfect before leaving Malibal, so along the way something happened and you get dead pixels. Am I correct on this? If so, do you guys think that the weather may have an effect on this? Like shipping in summer compared to shipping in winter?

usually for dead pixels, it's either five of them throughout the computer, or one in the center portion of the screen. (Split your monitor like a tic-tac-toe board, if there is a dead pixel in that center square... that's ONE. if it's outside that center square, usually the magic number is 5. Though at one point with DELL it was like 15 or so.

Not always perfect. Honestly, it's pretty hard to notice one dead pixel on a 1080p screen (which has over 2 million pixels).

sevenk you are right, shipping in winter does have some dis adv, it travels sometiems in below zero conditions , stays in trucks for a long time, that not good, its best to leave it to return to room temps before using it! I got 2nd day air and my laptop is arriving tomorrow! :)
