Hi there, i would like to describe my experience with Goldmax Laptops which is Eurocom reseller in Czech republic. They sell mostly in CR or Slovakia as well as all over the Europe.

I discovered clevo notebooks just a couple month ago, Goldmax is the only high performance and custumizable e-shop located in Czech republic where I am from. Nobody else is selling powerfull gaming laptops here not even alienware. I have been in touch with goldmax owner mr Kahn, who has been helpful as much as possible, even answering to my phone calls at 8:30 PM. Customer service is just very very good. I did not know much about components , now I do a know a lot thanks. They also redirect me to this phenomenal forum.

I am not sure what I am allowed to write in this feedback thread but hopefully this is simple wrap up. I will post my experience with machine in another thread.

That sounds great, and awesome that you found a reseller in your country. Although Eurocom and discussion about them is not well liked here, this is mainly due to their service and it seems the service you're dealing with here will be from Goldmax.

You'll want to post more in this thread about their service after you get the laptop and use it a little.
Amazing really that they pointed you to this forum! Most resellers when dealing with people directly do not necessarily want to educate them.

For example :p It may be very worthwhile to see if you can find MSI laptops in the Czech republic. MSI is the only manufacturer that rivals Alienware and Clevo, while they don't offer any laptops with the 580m/485m, 6990m/6970m, 480m or and CF/SLI laptops, they seem to be the only ones who offer the GTX 570m which is better than the 480m and really close to the 6970m.

Their prices tend to be better than Clevo and they offer better sound quality and a compromise between the subtlety of clevos and flashy looks of Alienwares.

But, some people must have a Clevo, if you are one of them I understand and its always interesting to see experiences with resellers in other countries. :)

@Niffcreature , I do not know much about MSI, do they make their own laptops? Are they at the same level as Clevo with customization and upgradability? Your post interest me when you mentioned that they are better priced but the part about only have 570m as their highest card is a bit not so cool since probably for the same price or less you can get a 6990m, or am I wrong? Alienware/Dell are made from Quanta right?

They are good people, but also extremely expensive prices.
For the config which I've build with Nexoc for 32K CZK they asked 54K CZK.

I have spoken a lot with them the last couple of days, Excellent service I must say. I even managed to get a great discount of their asking price and they answered every question.

Sadly I might not buy from them as I might have managed to find someone else that is somewhat closer to me that includes a swedish keyboard will ship to sweden faster..

I do howewer warmly recomend them for anyone that doesn't need a swedish keyboard'
