I'll definitely inquire about as I'm pretty curious how this can be possible and if it's even feasible to always get the latest and greatest with a plan like this!

My guess is that:
1). They sell your laptop
2). The transaction is saved as store credit
3). Add some more money then buy new
one
Of if they just sell the km1 as bare-bone and salvage everything except processor and mobo itself for the newer generation (ssd, hdd, ram) -
Hello everyone! I have finally received my laptop and I couldn't be happier! However, I really need to get this damn bottom panel open and I just can't figure out to do it and I can't find any guides on step-by-step instructions on how to do it. Any help would be greatly appreciated because I need to put an SSD in this thing!

Just make sure you take it slow and be a bit gentle. First few times its a bit stiff.Spartan@HIDevolution likes this. -

Try and stick your fingers in the vent thingies at the bottom (the track pad end) and then pull up. It will be pretty stiff. I wouldn't suggest trying to unclip it on the other end ( the side with the power/hdmi/usb port) because there are a lot of tiny clips there and they might get damaged.Spartan@HIDevolution and Papusan like this. -
