I'll definitely inquire about as I'm pretty curious how this can be possible and if it's even feasible to always get the latest and greatest with a plan like this!

    My guess is that:
    1). They sell your laptop
2). The transaction is saved as store credit
3). Add some more money then buy new
    one
Of if they just sell the km1 as bare-bone and salvage everything except processor and mobo itself for the newer generation (ssd, hdd, ram)

Hello everyone! I have finally received my laptop and I couldn't be happier! However, I really need to get this damn bottom panel open and I just can't figure out to do it and I can't find any guides on step-by-step instructions on how to do it. Any help would be greatly appreciated because I need to put an SSD in this thing!

This is a good refernce -

Just make sure you take it slow and be a bit gentle. First few times its a bit stiff.

Yeah... This isn't really helpful, I'm trying and trying what he does and there's zero grip and zero movement with this thing. No matter how hard I pull, it feels like pulling cement, it won't budge.

Just to confirm, and make sure , you take out all the screws. I think there are 9 in total. Lay it down on your bed or securely in your lap (and make sure you are sitting on your bed :p) -
Try and stick your fingers in the vent thingies at the bottom (the track pad end) and then pull up. It will be pretty stiff. I wouldn't suggest trying to unclip it on the other end ( the side with the power/hdmi/usb port) because there are a lot of tiny clips there and they might get damaged.

Go figure, I open it within five seconds with ease! I was pulling it from the wrong side... God I feel dumb now!

    Thanks @bloodhawk

Anytime man, feel free to tag me if you need any help. I usually hang in the OC thread, where resellers come for their worst nightmares.
