Just bought my EVOC P870KM1 from HIDevolution

So excited, called into the store for help because this is my first real gaming computer/laptop and Donald was so helpful! He stayed on the phone with me over an hour and a half after they closed to help me fix my configuration and walked me through the financing options I was wondering about expertly.

Originally I was going to get a gaming laptop from Digital Storm but after much research, I found them to be a tad overpriced and their customer service lacking. I'm not saying this is representative of everyone's experience but it was how my experience went. After lots of research I found that essentially there are two places to get Prema BIOS - LPC Digital and HIDevolution. Further research showed that LPC Digital was the more inexpensive option but had less options. HIDevolution was said to have more options and better customer service. I didn't realize how good their customer service was until now. Never have I had so much help from such an honest person who genuinely wanted to help me get the best possible setup without ripping me off. If anyone is considering purchasing a gaming laptop, like me, I would highly recommend HIDevolution just based on their insanely good customer service, not even including their great selection and prices. I can't wait to try out my new laptop when it gets here! No longer will my max FPS be permanently stuck under 30!

Thank you Phoenix! Your build is impressive! Donald actually mentioned how helpful you were especially with newer people. I really appreciate it because I'm sure I'll need some help when it arrives, especially with that telemetry garbage Windows has that I had struggled to remove from my old laptop but after some Googling and guessing I managed to.

I read through the threads you linked and WOW! I thought my story topped the cake but they truly go above and beyond for their customers! I'm very glad I took my time to do the research to find them!

That would be great! I've been using Windows 8.1 to this day avoiding upgrading to Windows 10 because of all the negative stuff I've heard but hopefully you can change my mind! I do see some positives in Windows 10 for sure just a lot of questionable choices made by them in some things

 

@Phoenix Finally got my Laptop in! Let me know whenever you're not busy so we can do those tweaks you mentioned before I start it up and get it loaded with bloatware haha
