I figured I'd join the club and speak a bit about my experience with Larry at LPC Digital.

I had spoken with a couple Sager vendors about picking up a NP9170, but after speaking with Larry, I ended up ordering from him. A day later, I mailed out a check via priority post, sent him the tracking number and within a matterof minutes, he had let me know he got everything sent over to Sager for the notebook build (which was awesome by the way).

A few days later I read on here that the Crucial M4 mSATA drive was backordered so I decided to send Larry an email at 7am his time to find out what my options were, and if it was possible to change the drive over to the Intel 525. About 30 minutes later, my phone was ringing with Larry on the other end, and before I even had to say anything, he was offering to pretty much split the difference in the upgrade fee to get my system built ASAP, which to me, was no problem.

This kind of customer service is almost unheard of these days and I'll surely be buying from him again in the future.

haha actually, I've posted this now that I have the notebook in hand. I did feel like a super impatient child waiting on it though .

Now, I have to figure out how to get Linux to play nicely with this Nvidia card and Optimus. Sigh.

I have always heard good things on here about Larry and LPC. I will take a serious look at them when I am ready to replace my current Lappy.
