At a glance: GentechPC was helpful and informative in the weeks leading up to my purchase, asking all questions and even updating their website with additional options to choose from at my request. They went above and beyond to make sure that the system I took home was the system that I wanted.

    Order Progression:

    • 1/05-2/10/2014: Dozens of back and forth PMs here on NBR between myself and Ken@GentechPC discussing different builds, options, etc before I decided on an NP8275-S with the GTX770M.
    • 2/11/2014: Order placed, payment authorized, and message received that Sager has begun building.
    • 2/12-2/16/2014: GentechPC gracefully endured my constant pestering about my system's status as well as my last-minute worries and doubts with the looming GPU refresh. Even going so far as to offer to call the system back
and replace the GTX770M with an GTX 8xx series GPU when they arrive at no additional cost.
    • 2/17/2014: Offer to replace GPU declined, tracking number received (Ken was up at midnight PST to receive the tracking number from Sager!) . This is also when the payment was charged.
    • 2/20/2014: Laptop received, (review for that will be up soon)

All said and done, 9 days (7 business days) from order receipt to completed system. Buying from GentechPC was a pleasant experience, went smooth from start to finish, and I would without a doubt recommend them in the future! I have yet to give the system a full inspection, but will do that next! Thanks again to Ken@GentechPC for all of your assistance!

*Edit* After a full inspection, and several exhausting stress tests, the system is definitely all in working order! Runs cool and is lightning fast.

Yikes! It took 6 days, four business days, from order authorized to shipping of laptop? I hope my MSI ships faster than that, lol. It said that they had it in stock, and the only changes I made were to add thermal paste and switch out the wireless card from an old N, to a newer AC type.
