    My Xotic PC experience

    so, after almost a year deliberating with myself on whether or not i wanted to buy a new laptop, what i should get and where i should get it i decided to take the plunge and went with Xotic PC. i originally considered the P750DM-G, which is a beast but with it being a bit out of my budget i decided to go with the P640RE. i placed the order on April 7th. unfortunately i made the mistake of ordering it as a guest instead of linking it to my personal account. i reached out to Xotic PC the next day to see if they could rectify this and they advised that with the new system they didn't have the option to make those changes on the backend. honestly, its only a minor inconvenience.
    the next day April 8th, it went into phase 0, which isn't to bad, it only took about 24 hours to mark as received and processed. from there it sat in phase 0 until April 11th when i got an email update stating that it had moved into phase 2, all the while i had been communicating with matthew pat and joe about questions regarding my clevo. then April 11th, i got the shipment notification that my laptop had cleared phase 2 and went straight to phase 7. now i only have a few days to wait till ups delivers it. i will be posting further updates when it arrives.

    overall though, i have to say that up until this point i have been satisfied with the interactions i have had with Xotic PC.

    Their services have been great in recent months, my friend ordered a NP9870 from them and without rush service they got the system done and delivered in about 12 days. Kudos to @pat@XOTICPC for helping him out with the order.

    ya, ill be honest, this was my first time ordering a custom system. usually i just go with a big box retailer. so admittedly i was nervous from the start about having to wait. LOL

    Yes, with Sagers, unless it is shipping to us for some extra upgrades on it, it will just go from phase 2 to 7 like that. 3-6 are designated for XPC upgrades.

    thanks pat! im just hoping i have some luck obtaining the parts to enable the 4G/WWAN. ill try to find out the complete list of things ill need to purchase then ill hit you guys up :)

    received my P640RE yesterday and man am i in love. my wife told me that if i didn't have her i would have probably married this thing! lol. thank you to Pat, Matthew, and Tyler for making my experience as painless as possible, i am so not used to waiting for a custom built system and they all understood that. i look forward to future business with them.
