    My XoticPC Experience: SAGER NP8657-S

    I ordered my NP8657-S on November 12th. It's going to be my primary workstation. I put it on the company card. Mary from XoticPC called me to verify some information and we're off to the races. Currently in the "Payment Processed & Inventory Gathering" phase. So far so good, I'll keep the thread updated but I can't wait to get it. Attaching a picture of the specs.

    It seems you joined the forums in Dec 2011 - I wouldn't call that new. Just you haven't posted anything since!

    Well, we're now 18 days in since I ordered. Website says I'm still in Phase 1 [Payment Processed & Inventory Gathering]

    I've made multiple attempts to get a status update but communication with them has been very poor. Here is a few examples:

    (the order change he's referencing in this e-mail was me asking if my order could be rush processed)

    So after getting this e-mail I waited a few days. I still have never received tracking information, I decided to contact support for some clarification:

    The actual sound of crickets on the internet. Look at the time stamps.

    So as it sits I really don't have any clue what exactly the status is on my machine. I'm not really particularly upset but it is pretty annoying. I was contacted by 3 different people in 24 hours when they wanted my money, but now that they have it, reaching someone seems almost impossible.

    Update: It actually just arrived. Website still says in's in the inventory gathering phase but I guess that doesn't matter anymore. More to come once I've had a chance to play with it.

    Yeah, normally Sagers are built within that "phase 1 status", then we update it when we know they are shipping out. I'm not sure why the tracking didn't get updated there, but glad to see it arrived. Let us know what you think or if you have questions on it though.

    Let me know how the LCD chassis is. I want to know if maybe the one I received was just faulty.
