Hi,
This is my order experience with XoticPC for the Sager NP8230.
The NP8230 I ordered was stock, except I chose to remove all branding.
Total came to $1219.01, paid with credit card, free shipping.
>Placed order on Monday night, July 22
>Phase 1 - Order Confirmation, July 23, morning
>Phase 2 - Sent for Custom Building, July 23, early afternoon
>Phase 4 - Order Shipped, July 26 (Sager actually completed building the laptop July 25, and was shipped late afternoon according to UPS tracking; XoticPC received the shipping update from Sager the next day)
>Delivered Tuesday, July 30 (Texas)
Box arrived in good condition. Inside that box was another one that contains the following:
>Laptop with battery inserted
>Manual
>120W AC Adapter
>Disc containing drivers for Windows 7
>Disc containing drivers for Windows 8
>Disc containing OEM software for CyberLink Media Suite 8.
Booted the laptop, installed Windows 7 Ultimate x64 from a USB 2.0 flash drive, installed Windows 7 drivers.
No problems so far, everything is working as expected.
Derek S from XoticPC answered my emails quickly before and during my order. Overall a very smooth experience, thanks XoticPC!![]()
