    Placed my order for an EVOC P670HP6-G from HIDevolution

    Put in the order last Friday, cheers to a Mr. Ted in Sales who humored my fifty hyperbollillion questions and gave coherent and candid answers to all of them. Of additional note was his willingness to encourage the pursuit of a discount and retroactively apply it when I did so.
    And now the waiting game begins. I think the last time I was this genuinely apprehensive was when WotLK launched for WoW...that was, what, 6 years ago? Already planning which of my graduate studies I can safely neglect for a week post-arrival.

    Regardless, a very pleasant experience overall. Quite a different experience from 6-odd years ago when I bought a dv7 from HP and, upon purchasing, was told the summary equivalent of "Thanks for your filthy peasant money nerd, now get the **** out." Bah.

    Arrived today. Already liking the look, very sleek
    Right side runs a bit warm, not sure if that's something to be concerned over

    Very curious headphone and ethernet port placement - first time I've ever seen them located on the right side

    How is your computer doing after a few months? I'm currently thinking about purchasing the P670HP6-G, but i'm concerned about thermal issues since the bottom plate of the laptop has very few vents on the bottom compared to the 15" version. I've seen some posts for the P670HS6-G where they were still having high 80's temps even with a 130mV undervolt, but that's also got a 1070 in it so i'm not sure if the extra heat on that affects the overall temps.
