First off I want to let this be known that I am not on here to complain only to get feedback. I purchased my Sager NP9130 on Feb 13, 2013 and I was given a build time of 7 to 10 business days for a total of 14 days to build and ship my laptop. As I type this it is sitting on the 9th business day or day 13 and I have been told via E-mail from Donald that he doesn't have any information on my laptop until Sager posts it on the Shipping orders they receive. My question is does that mean that the laptop has completed the build phase so to speak and is being tested and should be on its way to being shipped soon or what ? Also I have been reading posts on Sager and PowerNotebooks on this forum and others from as far back as 2006 and most purchasers had received they're particular laptop within 2 weeks, that's at there door in 2 weeks yet mine has yet to ship in the same time frame. My laptop specs I ordered are as follows :

I haven't been notified through PowerNotebooks of anything on back order or of any problems with build and or testing. Has anyone else had a similar experience as I have? I know I am being impatient because that is just how I am and I have been without a computer for several weeks now and I am dying to play with my new toy. Any constructive replies will be appreciated.

Problem sounds like it may be on Sager's end. PN has to get the rig from Sager first, so that seems to be the delay from what I can gather.

It seems everyone is in the Same Boat.

The Chinese New Year has put everyone back on their heels because they shut down all businesses for about a week earlier this month, and Sager did not have enough stock to keep up with their orders until new shipments arrive after the New Year is over. They did receive their first 'after' New Year shipment, but it was not enough to fulfill all of the orders so they are now waiting for their next shipment which is due early next week...but until it arrives they cannot assure us that they will have enough even then to fulfill all of their orders...so we have to wait to see where they are with your order next week.

This seems to happen every year during and just after the Chinese New Year so you would think they would order enough in ahead of time, but the problem is there is no way to gauge how many orders Sager will get during this period. This year they underestimated their sales, so everyone is having to wait a bit longer than usual.

We appreciate your patience and understanding.
