    Hi,

About a year and a half ago I started researching a laptop solution to equip 30 of our designers who run a unique 3D space planning program that requires gaming (Geforce based) graphics hardware. After struggling with some pilot equipment from Dell and HP, where I've had established purchasing relationships for years, I decided to get back to my roots and start shopping gaming hardware.

To meet our size/weight, performance and cost requirements we quickly settled on some hardware solutions from Sager/Clevo. After talking to a few vendors about what I was trying to do (Malibal, Xotic and PowerNotebooks) and considering my own "test" interactions with their Reseller Ratings and forum interactions here I decided to work with Donald at PowerNotebooks.

Right away I realized we needed to get a custom SKU created since some of our requirements could not be met with any combination of components available on the standard order page for the Sager model we decided on. Donald worked with Sager and got me a pilot Sager NP8130 that we loaded-up and tested extensively to make our final go/no-go decision. He even got Sager to set us up with a custom BIOS that addressed an issue we found with our unattended Windows 7 builds. After a successful pilot, we placed an order for another *29* units with the exact same configuration that had to be shipped to two different states.

Everything went smoothly from the initial machine design and pilot, ordering (we did a bank transfer for the cash discount), delivery of the laptops and support ever since we've had them in production. I was so pleased with my experience working with Donald and PowerNotebooks (along with Sager) I lobbied our design software vendor to get him invited to an industry trade show where he could market his product to other users... and got the chance to meet up for dinner and beers. Both the specification he helped us create and the service provided have led to dozens of follow-up sales from other firms in our industry using the same software product.

I've worked in corporate IT for a number of years and taking the giant leap that was going with both Sager and PowerNotebooks.com instead of my usual sources was a huge departure from my comfort zone... but now that I've gone there, PowerNotebooks.com has become my go-to source for the next big laptop refresh we've got planned that will hopefully include another 60+ ultrabooks in a to-be-determined configuration.

I'm remiss for not having written this review sooner but if working with Donald a second time over a year later on another significant product order because of my positive experience isn't a strong testimonial I don't know what is.

-- One very happy Director of IT and PowerNotebooks.com customer.

glad to here that everything went smoothly. i wish i could convince my parents to stop using gateways for their business, and switch to something that doesnt brake every 2 months. Smart decision, my clevo has been through hell and back. It has managed to surpass every expectation i had for gaming laptops.
