After a very positive experience with PowerNotebooks purchasing an NP8662 in June 2009, I purchased a Sager NP8130 from PowerNotebooks on October 1, 2011 with a 2630qm, GTX 560m, 16GB DDR3-1333, BD-ROM, 120GB Intel 510 SSD, and the normal matte screen. I had tried to deal with other resellers and many of them were unable to assuage me one way or another and cope with my OCD. (Not the sort of OCD where people claim it, I have it in details, build quality, etc., and it results in me spending literally MONTHS researching ANY piece of tech - computer, guitar, or camera.) Donald at PNB responded quickly, accurately, and did not try to go beyond my budget, nor did he try to sway me to spend money unnecessarily on parts that I did not need. He kept in constant contact, and when the 2670qm came out and I contacted him in re: to it, upgraded me to that processor free of charge.
Perhaps while I'm 25 going on 26 I may be young, i favor a no-nonsense, I'm not going to upsell you unless it's something VITAL, mentality that Donald and PowerNotebooks has. What I received, even in the post-sales department was nothing short of amazing. Donald made sure my laptop was exactly how I wanted it, made sure I was happy with it, and when I asked about DDR3-1866, answered it in a simple, easy-to-understand way. When a company leaves its customers fully assured that they're going to make the right decision, is not afraid to guide a customer without being pushy, and can work within a person's personal and budgetary needs, that's a company I want to stay with.
I give PowerNotebooks my endorsement as a most excellent Sager reseller.
