Purchasing the new P970EN from HIDevolution

Hi! I doubt anyone remembers me, but I was active on NBR back in 2010 as I went through the process of purchasing my first laptop. I lurked on the forums for a while longer, but ultimately left once I switched to desktop use exclusively. I'm now on the verge of moving, traveling, and spending at least a year overseas. This has brought me back into the laptop world.

I discovered the new Clevo P970 and decided to make my purchase from HIDevolution after having seen so much positive feedback from the users on these forums. (I was specifically impressed by the care they put into thermal solutions.) I am just tonight ordering my new laptop, and will update this post with any relevant information as things progress, but I just had to share my experience of the order process.

I spent three nights talking with Ted K. on HIDevolution's live chat, asking him more questions than I could keep track of. He was knowledgeable, prompt, and friendly. I'm someone who suffers from what I call "buyer's anxiety" and my experience with HIDevolution made me feel comfortable about my impending purchase. They are even accommodating a specific shipping request I have as I do not have a finalized itinerary for my moving plans yet. (This was particularly crucial to my peace of mind.)

Most importantly however, was Ted's honesty in his responses. It's refreshing to have a company representative respond with "I don't know, but give me some time and I will find out."
