    Original post:

Been looking for a nice 780m gtx laptop with 3d vision support (embedded transmitter, no icky usb dongle for me thanks!)
After my previous order with another company got stuck in 'order hell', Xoticpc.com finally had a 3d capable laptop with 780m. For a couple hundred more USD, i could get SLI for the same price i was willing to spend on the single gpu 'other' unit.

    Day 1 8/6/2013 - Initial order
Got in contact with Josh - had some straightforward questions and got straight forward answers.
After a wee bit of finagling and then some haggling (Read: Discount begging) I finally pulled the trigger on a very smexy
    & fully loaded Sager NP9380-S (Clevo P370SM3)
4800mq, SLI 780m gtx and of course 3d vision embedded.
Order was placed just after 5pm USEAST, so i don't think it made to through to verification yet (arg)

    As a foot-note, Google seems to be having issues with google voice phone numbers in my area; when called, theres a 50/50 chance of getting a false 'not in service' message; worst case scenario, i hope its possible to verify via skype + military id or student id or something. {why do i use google voice? its free, i pay 0 a month for cell phone service, and till now, 100% problem free}

My Anxiety/Stress level: [lower is better]2/10 :D- they seem pretty cool judging from nbr forums, not too worried about my order, but big purchases are always a bit stressful.

Ease of use for ordering: 8/10 - website navigation could be a wee bit better/ updated, though i think today was literally the FIRST day for this lappy [3d] to be offered, so it wasn't listed under '3d capable' section.

Communication: 10/10 - Perfect so far. Josh (xotic PC rep) has been very responsive to any and all of my annoying questions.

Price fairness: 9/10 - For a 780m SLI 3d notebook with lots of extras (tri band wifi, ICD7 etc) 3k is a very fair price, and averages ~200USD cheaper than several direct competitors i looked at (including discounts)

Other things that would / could be neat: a free t-shirt with 2k+ orders, or a patch or some sort of free decal. Would love to rock an xoticpc badge on my carry bag!

Day 2- 8/7 - Verification and Payment - i added rush build, which was completely painless. Also got to chat with Deb from verification; very polite and quick to respond. Hopefully payment will clear tomorrow (8th)
Communication: still 10/10 - nothing could be done better, its been perfect.

Ill add new dates as events happen, and keeping tabs on Communication and Anxiety/Stress

    mrzzz:

if i'm going to do something where I'm transferring over $2,000 or so, I tend to call up the bank and let them know ahead of time what's going to happen. ESPECIALLY if it's my first purchase with a company. When I bought my NP8265-S from PNB, they even said to do this.

On a more important note, that laptop was EXACTLY what I was considering (sans the 3D) before I realized that it wouldn't fit in a locker at school. If you use the 3D function or want 120hz in games, that's going to be an incredible machine to do it with. Well done :)

Ya its normally not a problem to make large value purchases so i didn't even think of calling ahead of time :( Because it was out-of state it triggered their security whatnots.

I'm trying to contain my excitement for this lappy to arrive, but inside, im that 8 year old peeing his pants on the way to chuck-e-cheese's to meet the ninja turtles :(
