Xotic pc order processing takes such a long time

I sent an order Sept 16, and sent the payment and they received it (it went to Phase 1) on Sept 29. It has stayed at phase 1 for 8 business days now. Actually when I followed up they said that Phase 1 for in stock should take max 7 days (they confirmed it was in stock at the time) and that they will "speed up other phases to make up for the time". It is now the 8th day and their reply last night is that it will take 10-15 business days to ship out the item. Basically they are just telling me to wait for 8 more business days before I should complain, and that their initial communication is incorrect regarding the phases (second email they made no mention of the phases).

I was a returning customer to xotic but now their speed seems to have taken a back seat. I cant do anything now since I wired the money but I advise others to look elsewhere.

 

I would like to look into this and help out! Can you PM me your order number and I will see what I can do?

 

Actually, a lot of the Clevo resellers are experiencing delays with the introduction of the new GPUs. The delays are stemming from the production line itself, so it can't be helped.

 

actually I realize I posted in the wrong forum, as this was an onstock MSI GT73VR. Since it is on stock, it shouldnt take this long!

 

I do apologize for the delay! It looks like a bit of a delay from distribution but all is good now I'll make sure this ships out ASAP. Please feel free to reach out to me personally for any further updates.

looks like it entered Phase2 today (as opposed to shipping). Can you check how much more longer this will take?

Yeah, I Have to agree, your case is a bit absurd.. Only time I bought a pre built laptop from the states, the Asus G73JH, I paid by PayPal and had a lot of customisation... GentechPC shipped it out like in 2-3 days.. Reached UK a few days later..

I don't see what the delay can be but wiring money would increase the lead time to 2-3 days more tops..

This was set to ship Friday, appears it didnt make the cut off but will ship today!

We had an issue with distribution which is not typical but all resolved now!
