This is sort of a part 2 to the XoticPC experience, I left off when receiving the system that they flat out ignored me every-time I tried to tell them the supposed "bonuses" and "promo" items were half missing with no explanation whatsoever but it did not phase me since the unit itself was fine so if you order with a xotic promo and want to spread the xotic name with the swag and it never shows up it probably wont but other than that it got shipped out pretty fast and it was great experience~ flash forward to more recently now..

My P670RP6-G was one of the first units which considering all things has served me quite well. The total barebone price all-in was $1,337.76 it was supposed to be lucky but it finally decided it had enough with having all 4 ram dimms populated and the GTX 1060 decided to also commit seppuku. This worried me because I bought the laptop without any hdds so I went in holding my breath since I wondered how they could confirm that it failed. Out of curiosity I put a disney asset tag on the bottom shell and also recorded the motherboard serial number to see what shenanigans sager would pull.

It took about three days to setup RMA procedures with XoticPC and get it sent out to Sager which was fairly painless. Six days later I started to get worried since I had not even received an email saying Sager received the laptop so by day eight I decided to message XoticPC to see what status was on the laptop since they have better contact with Sager. On day 11 I got a reply saying they had actually shipped the laptop back to me but never stated what they even did! Roughly on day 15 I recieved a package at my door...I finally had the laptop back! I tore open the packaging and there it was...a new sealed laptop box which specs sticker said had a 7700HQ and the works~ I got excited because I thought maybe Sager outright replaced my system with the Kaby version but nope (Sager you little devil, that was funny) nestled inside that box was my orig box with my orig laptop all supposedly fixed without even a printed paper or note stating what was done but they even cleaned it so thanks guys.

First things first was replacing the stock tim because I never ordered it with IC-Diamond i had to put kryonaut right back on there and when I opened it up at first I thought it was a cruel joke because everything inside was configured and left just how I put it. The tech put m.2 screw back in slot2, they even put my ram back in the exact same positioning it was on prior board so I had HP RMA Deja Vu until i noticed the boards s/n was different~ good! Booting it up I also noticed it had a BIOS Version that was never mentioned here on NBR and I wish I pulled it before flashing the latest one from XMG but it worked perfectly and has been since then.

It took about 18~20 days from first point of contact but worked out all well~

As a gintama fan I found this insanely hilarious.

Idk seems like they do their job for the most part but communication seems very lackluster over there.

Glad to hear they got it sorted for you. How are your temps with the Kryonaut?

They're very no-nonsense and don't really elaborate or duplicate messages over there, which is great for getting things done right and in a timely fashion, but leaves people wondering what is happening sometimes. They usually only contact independently if they need permission to do something or need to report something that wasn't defined in the original scope of the RMA.

Nice, haven't experimented much with it on my systems but I'm almost out of what I have now, and Kryonaut is at the top of my list to replace it.
