The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

Yes. They are a brick and mortar shop that builds your machine for you as opposed to a reseller. The first couple steps seem to drag along until your parts are pulled and a tech actually begins putting it together. At that point the process goes faster.

I have found that they respond to emails quickly if you ask them what is going on.

Eventually, you will get your machine in a triple packed box that has been built to your exact specs and tested thoroughly. They even leave the testing results in your document folder so you can see what they did.

I don't look at it as a delay, I look at it as a small company taking the time to do the job right. You just need to remember they are a systems builder not a systems reseller.
