Was going to get the dvd burner > hdd caddy upgrade, but that only put me at $1499 lol,

So anyways, I only see two places I could upgrade, and neither one of them I really care too much about, but guess it's worth it for ~$70 off.

Either the Ultimate N wireless or the thermal paste upgrade would put me barely over $1500, but not sure which one is a better choice :p

Or guess I could just get the $50 rush processing, but I'm pretty sure that doesn't count for the discount.

The DVD burner to HDD caddy move is only if you want to use the space for the HDD to allow you to put a SSD in the the hard drive bay. It gets rid of the DVD burner so you have no internal optical drive.

Judging by your price range, it sounds like you got the 6990M. I'd definitely get the IC Diamond upgrade, especially if you aren't going to repaste yourself.

    I'd take the wireless upgrade.

It all comes down to whether or not you are confident enough to repaste the GPU/CPU yourself. If you are, you can opt out of the IC Diamond and upgrade your wireless card. If you aren't, then upgrading the thermal compound would be highly recommended.

I recommend the wireless upgrade that puts you over the $1,500 mark. :)

Hehe, thanks for the replies but ended up wimping out and going for the 8130 instead, so the $1500 deal wasn't a factor seeing I only spent $900 :p

Why not both? That's what I did. Better Thermal paste and WiFi.
