    Now the 16f2 Board with 2630qm works fine.
    Is it possible that also 7970m v1.0/v1.1 works with this Guide in Erazer/GT70 Machines?

    no idea to be honest. the v1.2 restriction mentioned in the OP applies / applied only to Clevo HM series machines. and even there we recently found that there apparently are exceptions:

    but since ure talking about MSI machines, i cant tell u anything about version compatibility...
