Currently my P151EM BIOS version is 1.00.04 and I downloaded a newer version 1.00.05 to flash it. But I don't know how to do it properly.
I heard that flashing the BIOS in the wrong way may damage your machine, kinda scared so I think it's better to ask the proper way to flash it.
Sorry if this is a noob question.

Hmm where did you download this? I'm seeing that my laptop keeps crashing out of BF3 when i alt+tab and under reliability history it shows that both BF3 crashes as well as PowerBiosServer (possibly a problem with optimus?)
As for how to install it, it should be an executable, so just run it, although you are messing with the BIOS so do check the MD5 checksum -
Why don't you read the sticky:

I just heard that flashing it from Windows is more dangerous than doing it from DOS, not so sure about this. So in the end I can directly run the *.bat file in windows to flash it?
Anyways thanks guys, rep+.
Below is the BIOS that I downloaded:

Looks like changes in fan control since there is documentation within the archive.
Anyone brave enough to flash their P151EM? -

... maybe it's the elusive fn+f1 fan control that some eurocom comps seem to have but not others?

Ok, I've flashed it after checking with amibcp to make sure that it's a valid amibios. I can confirm that this archive updates both bios and ec to 1.0.0.5 and everything seems fine so far.
It's hard to tell if anything has changed. Maybe the idle cpu fan is a little slower. I'll report back later after some d3. -
Cwl999 can you also test if the Fn + 1 turbo fan works with the new BIOS.
