    [help]sager 2090 screen won't open!

    Please someone help me. The laptop monitor stays off when I open my laptop. I heard the opening sound of my window xp when my laptop opens. It seems like everything works fine except my monitor. I don't even see the start up. Please help me!!!

    Hi there,


    1. Check the notebook lid button (the rubber button pressed down by the top part of laptop when it closes on upper side under monitor on top of keyboard)
    2.Have you opened the case and check if all ribbon cables, card are seated correctly?

    3. Test using an external monitor if you get an output, then you will be needing servicing

    If it does not work on an external monitor it looks like you have a bad graphics card on your hands. Take the notebook in to get checked at a computer service center.
