Does anyone know the manufacturer and part numbers for the 15.6" 95% matte displays? I know it's been discussed ad nauseam, but the search function is borked and only gives me two results when I search.

Tried searching NBR with Google, too, but had no luck.

    TIA.

Edit: Found this by going page by page through the forum: http://forum.notebookreview.com/har...fhd-1920x1080-panels-reviews.html#post7092060, though it doesn't seem to have all the info on the matte screens for the 8150/P150HM

    95% Gamut Matte= AU Optronics B156HW01 v4

    95% Gamut Glossy= AU Optronics B156HW01 v5

8150 and 8130 share the same 95% Gamut screens for most resellers. I recommend contacting the reseller just to be safe.

    95% Gamut Glossy= AU Optronics B156HW01 v7 (AUO17ED)

The AU Optronics B156HW01 v5 is the worst of AUO's batch and used in ASUS notebooks.

Thanks for pointing out my mixup. I got the v7 and v5 backwards. The v7 is the 95% Gamut Glossy.
