Hey there, yesterday my AC connector got loose and the Clevo P170HM (specs in signature) got empty and went into sleep mode. I woke it up and charged it back to 100% but now everything seems to be slow.

Even youtube videos are lagging (non HD). My GPU Temp is at 60celsius and my cpu temps are at 42 Celsius - 46 Celsius.
Powerplan is at "high performance" and there arent really any apps that use a lot of CPU or could cripple my system. And then again, I also didnt change anything.

Does anyone have an idea?

Did you do a full shutdown, yet?
Disconnect the PSU while running and connect it back. If that doesn't work do a cmos reset.

Looks like the system remains in lowest power-state for some reason.

Yep I had the laptop turned off during the whole night.

Just re-plugged the PSU. Dont think it helped.

How to do a cmos reset? What exactly is it going to do ?

@edit: oh it did help. thanks a lot !

In case anyone else reads this then you have to remove the cmos battery for a few mins with the ac and main battery also unplugged.
